Burner Watchlist / market field guide
A Late Day Breakout describes a sequence sometimes seen on an intraday chart: an early rise, a pullback or sideways pause near VWAP, and a later move toward or through the morning high. VWAP is an average price weighted by trading volume. The pattern describes recorded prices; it cannot tell what happens next.
Structure varies by chart
Price rises early and sets a morning high.
Price pulls back or moves sideways, sometimes near VWAP.
Later, price may approach or cross the earlier high. What follows is uncertain.
